• 10 weeks, 250 mg/day (postmenopausal women with prediabetes, overweight/obese): In a double-blind RCT, muscle insulin sensitivity (insulin-stimulated glucose utilization during clamp test, per kg of lean mass) was 25±7% higher after the NMN course compared to baseline; no significant changes were observed in the placebo group.[1]
• 60 days, 300–900 mg/day (healthy adults 40–65 years, multicenter RCT): Blood NAD (NAD+ + NADH) levels increased from baseline to day 60:
