This is a vitamin D3 supplement with a concentration of 2000 IU (50 mcg) per tablet.

Vitamin D is formed when we spend time in the sun due to its formation in human skin under the influence of ultraviolet rays and partially comes with food, promotes the absorption of calcium and phosphorus from food. These are the main reasons to include this supplement in the diet at a time when the sun is not so active in pleasing us with its rays.

Also, a number of clinical studies suggest the following additional functions of vitamin D: participation in the regulation of cell division, metabolic processes, stimulation of the synthesis of a number of hormones.

Daily requirement for an adult - 1-10 mcg, in bodybuilding is used in large doses - 10-20 mcg. The maximum allowable dose is 50-100 mcg.

Vitamin D is fat-soluble, so exceeding the recommended doses is dangerous to health. In case of vitamin D overdose, toxic poisoning is observed: loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, general weakness, irritability, sleep disturbances, fever.
