Hydrolyzed collagen is one of the most abundant proteins in the human body, the main structural protein that shapes our bodies and provides tissue strength: it actually holds or binds cells together. Most collagen is found in connective tissues that perform a mechanical function: bones, cartilage, and ligaments.

Collagen is used as a means to strengthen joints and ligaments. Oral collagen is able to restore the integrity of cartilage, strengthen ligaments and relieve pain in case of joint damage, increase the density of collagen fibers and fibroblasts (cells that produce collagen inside the body) in the skin, cartilage and ligaments .

Biotin (aka vitamin B7, H) participates in metabolism (it is part of enzymes that regulate protein , carbohydrate and fat metabolism) and has a beneficial effect on the growth and structure of hair, nails, and skin structure . Biotin noticeably improves the complexion and makes the skin more elastic and silky .
