Stark Bemitil 250 mg — actoprotector for endurance and adaptation
Stark Bemitil is a product with the active ingredient 2-ethylthiobenzimidazole hydrobromide (a benzimidazole derivative) in capsules.
On the Stark product page, Bemitil is described as an actoprotector that can be used during periods of increased physical exertion, as well as in situations where economizing energy costs and maintaining performance are important.
The capsule format makes the product convenient for dosing and course use with pauses, which is associated with the cumulation (accumulation) of the active substance.
Briefly about the product:
- Form: capsules.
- Dosage: 250 mg (0.25 g) per 1 capsule.
- Active ingredient: 2-ethylthiobenzimidazole hydrobromide.
- Packaging: 40 capsules.
- Recommendation regarding time of administration: do not apply later than 4:00 PM.
- Course approach: 6 days with breaks between courses to prevent cumulation.
How it works:
- Protein synthesis: may nonspecifically enhance RNA and protein synthesis reactions in tissues that are actively working during the period of administration.
- Energy metabolism: can support enzyme links associated with energy generation and substrate recovery after stress.
- Gluconeogenesis: can support the utilization of lactate and other metabolites that accumulate during intense exercise.
- Mitochondria: may promote a more “connected” mitochondrial function and increase the efficiency of tissue respiration.
- Antioxidant protection: can reduce the intensity of lipid peroxidation processes and support antioxidant systems.
- Resource conservation: can reduce the body's need for oxygen and heat production under stress.
- Glycogen stores: The product description states that it increases glycogen content in the muscles, liver, and heart.
The effect of the Stark Bemitil supplement
- Endurance: may help maintain performance during intense physical activity.
- Adaptation to stress: can help the body better tolerate stressful training conditions.
- Anti-hypoxic support: may promote resistance to oxygen deprivation conditions during high exertion.
- Energy metabolism: can support the efficiency of tissue respiration and metabolic processes.
- Recovery: can help support recovery processes after exercise (course).
- Antioxidant balance: may help reduce oxidative stress during high-intensity exercise.
Benefits of the formula
- Monoformula: one active ingredient without unnecessary combinations — convenient for dose control.
- Clear concentration: 250 mg per capsule (0.25 g), which simplifies the calculation of the daily portion.
- Course format: the product page describes the intake regimen with breaks to prevent cumulation.
Who might be interested?
- During periods of increased physical activity and large training volumes.
- When it is important to maintain endurance and performance during “hard” training weeks.
- If necessary, a course approach to supporting adaptation and recovery after stress.
Scientific data
1. Actoprotectors and the principle of “economizing” energy consumption
Source: Review article on the pharmacology of actoprotectors (Oliynyk, 2012), PMC.
Briefly: The review describes actoprotectors as compounds that can increase exercise tolerance without increasing oxygen consumption or heat production, with a focus on metabolic mechanisms and protein synthesis.
2. Antioxidant effects in acute hypoxia (experimental model)
Source: Zarubina IV, 2002. PMID: 12428282.
Briefly: In a rat model of acute hypoxic hypoxia, inhibition of lipid peroxidation activation and maintenance of the antioxidant system in brain tissues have been reported.
3. Support of the glutathione system in acute hypoxia (experimental model)
Source: Zarubina IV, 2002. PMID: 12227091.
Briefly: in rats under conditions of acute hypoxia, the preservation of the level of reduced glutathione and the activity of glutathione-related enzymes has been described, which is consistent with the antioxidant direction of action under stressful conditions.
4. Metabolic performance and performance in high altitude
Source: Shanazarov AS, 1991. PMID: 1786862.
Briefly: the publication examines the impact on metabolic processes and performance in high altitude conditions, which thematically corresponds to the tasks of endurance and adaptation to hypoxic conditions.
Composition
Composition per 1 capsule: 2-ethylthiobenzimidazole hydrobromide - 250 mg.
Recommendations for use: take orally after meals, 0.25 g (1 capsule) 2 times a day. If necessary, the daily dose is increased to 0.5 grams (2 capsules) in the morning and 0.5 grams (2 capsules) after lunch (with a weight of over 100 kg). To increase performance in extreme conditions, take 60–120 minutes before further activity in a dose of 0.25–0.5 grams.
Duration of use: the course is 6 days with 3–4-day breaks between them to prevent drug accumulation. The average course is from 3 to 6 weeks.
Caution: Do not apply after 4:00 PM to avoid sleep problems.
Contraindications: arrhythmia; severe liver dysfunction; epilepsy; hypoglycemia; glaucoma; pregnancy and lactation; arterial hypertension; hypersensitivity; ischemic heart disease.
Release form: capsules.Packaging: 40 capsules.
