L-Carnitine is an amino acid, a natural substance related to B vitamins, is a fat burner. Fat burning transports fatty acids to the mitochondrial matrix, where they are destroyed with the release of energy during physical exertion.

Caffeine is able to increase strength by stimulating the release of norepinephrine from the adrenal glands and contributing to better muscle contraction. The amount of caffeine needed to improve athletic performance is approximately 200 mg. It is a thermogenic CNS stimulant.
